Day Six

Dear Diary, The real reason I wanted an easy computer was because
I felt the need for Email to keep up with our far-flung family and
friends. Also, various groups I belong to ask for Email addresses.
I have been the only one without Email and so here I am, trying to
master a new skill at the age of eighty. In just one week, thanks to
my outstanding teacher, my daughter, I can send and receive Email!
It is a miracle! It is getting easier each day but I am a long way from being fluent.
My teacher introduced me to THE WEB! We found information about my woman’s club,
the PEO Sisterhood, and about the Cutco Co.’s "guaranteed for life" policy for their cutlery.
Now I know how to get my broken scissors repaired or replaced. Maybe this computer
will help me in many ways besides Email, but I LIKE EMAIL BEST so far. This is a friendly
computer, the best one I’ve seen yet. Bye for now.
